Independent Bookstore Day
Saturday, April 27
Every year Chicago Indie Bookstores facilitate a Bookstore Crawl. Each bookstore usually has their own snacks or giveaways that they are doing, but together they offer an incentive to visit as many as possible. Every year they set up a passport system with some nice goals (no purchased required):
Visit TEN stores in one day and get 10% off at all participating bookstores for the ENTIRE YEAR!
Visit FIFTEEN stores in one day and get 15% off at all participating bookstores for an ENTIRE YEAR!
Lauren will be mapping out a route to hit at least 10 local bookstores.

May Philanthropy Event
Wednesday, May 1 @ 6:00pm
Join us for a night of ice cream at our first Philanthropy Event of 2024. We will be asking for donations for the American Cancer Society, and accepting donations in any amount.
We will be making the donation in the name of one of our DZ Chicago sisters whose family has recently been effected by cancer. If you are not able to make the event but would like to donate please reach out to Mia Wagner via our Slack channel.

Membership Tea
Saturday, May 11 @ Noon
Join us for a Mamma Mia Tipsy Tea Party for our annual Membership Tea.
Since this falls over Mother's Day weekend, all moms/mother figures/sisters are welcome to join you. As always, you are also welcome to join on your own.
The Gwen offers multiple drink packages where you can choose and pay here.
